FSSC 22000-Certified Manufacturing

Our products are manufactured in Sweden at a facility certified to FSSC 22000.

FSSC 22000 is a GFSI-recognised food-safety management certification scheme. It provides a framework for documented food-safety systems, controlled manufacturing processes and continuing oversight.

The certification applies to the manufacturing facility and its certified scope. It does not mean that individual Amaris Mint® products are independently FSSC 22000-certified.

The facility also operates documented Good Manufacturing Practice and HACCP-based food-safety controls.

Ingredient Selection and Traceability

Ingredients are selected against defined compositional, identity and quality requirements.

Depending on the ingredient, supporting documentation may include:

  • Ingredient specifications

  • Supplier documentation

  • Certificates of Analysis

  • Allergen information

  • Country-of-origin information

  • Standardisation details for botanical extracts, where applicable

  • Microbiological or contaminant parameters, where relevant

Specific sourcing statements are used only where supported by the relevant supplier or manufacturing documentation.

Quality Control and Batch Documentation

Production is managed through documented manufacturing and quality-control procedures.

Relevant records may include:

  • Approved raw-material documentation

  • Batch manufacturing records

  • In-process controls

  • Finished-product review

  • Allergen controls

  • Batch identification and traceability records

  • Certificates of Analysis and other supporting documentation, where applicable

Documentation requirements may vary according to the product, ingredient and production batch.

Amaris Mint® products are foods or food supplements. They are not medicines and are not presented as products that diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.

Our policy is to review product labelling and marketing against the requirements applying in each intended market.

This includes applicable requirements relating to:

  • Food supplements

  • Food information and labelling

  • Allergens

  • Nutrition declarations

  • Nutrition and health claims

  • Consumer protection and non-misleading advertising

In Great Britain, our policy is to use permitted nutrition claims and authorised health claims only where the relevant conditions of use are met.

EU-market information is reviewed separately against the requirements applying within the European Union.
